This was only my second time having a gyro from here. First time was 3 years ago. Flavors are good, I got the lamb gyro and the tzatkiki sauce is on point. Overall, its a good sandwich and great concept, but was overpriced for what you get. $16 for the gyro only, not exactly ideal as a budget friendly option.

I purchased the Greek marinade/dressing and olive oil from My Big Fat Greek Trailer at The Summerville Farmers Market and both products are superb! I was able to make delicious Souvlaki and Greek Potatoes at home! Although, after tasting how delicious the marinade and s I can’t wait to check out their food. I’ve been searching for good Greek food here in the South and it looks like I found it! Excellent customer service and the gentleman at the farmers market is very nice. If you haven’t tried it look for it at the farmers market or pick some up the next time you’re at the restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

Like many others have said, this is hands down the best Greek food in Charleston—and brings authentic Greek food to another level. We ordered the pork gyro, feta fries and baklava and can’t wait to come back for more. Great food and great service.

Delicious gyros! Traditional Greek recipes and ingredients. No lamb- and they took the time to explain why. In Greece lamb gyros are not traditional which I found interesting and insightful. That being said, they informed me they are known for pork…of course I ordered chicken before knowing. So I will just need to come back and get the pork soon the baklava was also perfectly flakey and just the right amount of sweetness. I like when there are still identifiable pieces of nuts in the layers and theirs certainly had some. Can’t wait to return.

The pork gyro at this spot is hands down the best gyro in Charleston! I’ve tried a lot since moving here from Philly, and nothing comes close. The flavor was incredible, the pita was fresh and warm, and the meat was perfectly seasoned. If you’re looking for authentic Greek food in Charleston, this is the place. Pumped its 5 minutes down the street from me.

The food is delicious! We really wanted to try it after seeing the rating and reviews of this foodtruck. The kids really liked the food too. Be sure to try the garlic sauce, I was popping out the whole jar. It's just great! Thank you!!!

The food at My Big Fat Greek Trailer is the most authentic Greek food I've had in the States. You can taste that the tzatziki recipe is passed down from generations (thank you, Costas!) Panagiotis, David, and the entire Kakaziotis family are committed to bringing food Greeks actually eat to Charleston, and it doesn't hurt that it's absolutely delicious. Yamas!
